Most people assume that when they make an appointment to get their nails done, they have to get them long. That's not the case. About 10 yrs ago I had a client that came in with nails that looked atrocious. Really badly bitten and not much nail to do anything to. Seeing as I offer a warranty with the nails I do, it seemed fitting to VOID her warranty as I thought I knew that she would have them all gone in under a week. To my astonishment she returned for her 3 week fill with all 10 nails still in tact. It was just shy of a miracle. Point of this story is that not all artificial nails are damaging. In fact some of us help the victims of improper nail care. Below is a before and after photo. The before is the result of a picker/biter with NO nails on. The after is what a short overlay can do in order to help her grow out her own natural nails. It can be done!!!
